The Skills for Health Quality Mark is the health sector’s first and only independent, sector specific quality assurance audit, providing a framework that defines and endorses superior learning and education. A growing number of organisations across the UK are signing up for the Quality Mark as a sign of their commitment to offering high quality education and training.

Shaun Kershaw, Head of Petroc Health and Care Academy commented, “Petroc College of Further and Higher Education recognised the importance of gaining the Skills for Health Quality Mark as it demonstrates excellence within the delivery of health and social care education.

As a FE/HE provider which strongly supports the local health and social care sector and has gained national recognition via Health Education England for its innovative work centred upon the work of the Petroc Health and Care Academy, the successful achievement of the Quality Mark was essential to provide additional reassurances to providers that what we offer is of a very high standard, is sector specific and is delivered by highly experienced practitioners. We are delighted that our expertise in the sector has been recognised and are extremely proud to hold the Skills for Health Quality Mark.”
